More than 15 years experience performing building inspections, construction inspections and existing structure assessments with knowledge of the various required reports documenting the condition of construction projects. This includes a history of evaluating civil and structural construction for compliance with approved plans, contract drawings and project specifications, Uniform/ICC codes and other related standards. I have a thorough knowledge of construction materials and methods including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional buildings; public work roads and bridge work. Concrete work includes knowledge of mixing, placing, and curing; reinforced concrete; reinforced masonry, mortar and grout mixes; forms and shoring; steel frame erection; wood framing; nature of soils and soil compaction and asphalt placement techniques. I’ve a background in construction materials of import back fill placement, roadway construction, storm drain systems and other underground utilities. As a municipality Building Inspector / Code Enforcement officer I completed the traditional tasks of a code enforcement officer. I also provided
full-time and periodic special inspection for commercial and industrial structure including inspection of structural components such as reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, structural steel, wood frame diaphragm, seismic retrofits and other related construction disciplines |
